It's the second week of 2022 and we are going strong. Is it the resolutions for the new year...? I'm not sure. What I do know is that I'm not writing this in 2022. In fact it's December 2021 and I'm eating ice cream while writing this blog. So about those resolutions... Don't believe everything you read and see on the internet.
Why am I telling this? Because I planned this post, so I would not be stressing in the second week of the new year, thinking about what to write for our second blog. Anyway, let's go back to the essence of this blog. Why is a content calendar key? If you want to plan 2022 ahead, you can. At least, it's possible for posting your content on your social media channels for personal or business purposes. Why is it so important to do? I can tell from experience that it causes less stress and anxiety. You won't easily forget to post important things on important days. And on the days you actually want a break from social media, you can, because you have planned everything in advance.
It causes less stress and anxiety
Think for example about the holidays. The Christmas holidays are just over and most of you are already looking forward to Easter. I'm not sure if it's for that extra day off, the food, your family or the booze. Anyway, just as it is smart to plan visits with your family in advance, it is equally as important to plan what to do with your business or social media channels on those days. I can tell you, posting some eggs in a basket on your social media (for work) is the last thing you want to do on an afternoon spending with family.
Been there, done that. Not nice when someone's asking you if you want a soft or hard boiled egg and your answer is: yes. Just because your brain can't focus on posting and answering questions at the same time. Don't be ashamed. They say women can multitask. And yes we certainly can, but only to a certain level.
Posting some eggs in a basket is the last thing you want
In the year of 2022 it is easy to come up with some ideas for your content. You don't have to invent the wheel. Just look at what similar businesses/accounts do and put it on your content calendar for the future. Plus nowadays we have a National Day for almost everything on each day of the year. I mean, we have a National Cookie Day (yes it exists and it's on 4 December)! In fact today has already 6 national days on one day.
So if you are wondering if it is too early to plan your content for the whole year? No absolutely not! Because we want to help you, we have made you a calendar. Enquire your free email here. You will receive the free calendar by email. Just add your text in your pdf-file and save it every time you have added something or you just print it to put it on your desk.
Search when the holidays and your favorite national days are and mark them as very important. It doesn't matter if you haven't created the content yet. As long as you know what you want to post, you can go from there. Do you need help with creating the content? Just contact us via firstname.lastname@example.org and we are happy to help you become a star in online marketing.
I hope this blog was helpful. Good luck with creating and stay tuned, because next week I will post a blog with some content ideas.
